Farklı Kademelerde Görevli Okul Yöneticilerine Göre Okul Öncesi Eğitim

Abstract:

Bu araştırmada okul öncesi eğitim, ilköğretim ve ortaöğretim kademelerinde görevli okul yöneticilerinin okul öncesi eğitime ilişkin görüşlerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma nitel bir çalışma olup olgubilim deseninde gerçekleştirilmiştir. 2019-2020 Eğitim Öğretim Yılında Kahramanmaraş il merkezinde farklı kademelerde okul yöneticisi olarak görev yapan 21 okul yöneticisi araştırmanın çalışma grubu olarak belirlenmiş, katılımcılardan görüşme yoluyla elde edilen veriler içerik analize tabi tutulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda; okul yöneticilerinin tamamının okul öncesi eğitimi gerekli gördükleri; okul yöneticilerinin kurum imkânları dâhilinde okul öncesi eğitimi desteklemeye çalıştıkları; yöneticilerin okul öncesi eğitimden çocukları ilkokula hazırlaması, çocuklara toplumsal kuralları öğreterek çocukların özgüven ve sosyalleşme alt yapılarını oluşturması yönünde beklentilerinin olduğu; kurumlarda bulunan ana sınıflarının kuruma sunduğu birtakım avantajlarının ve getirdiği bazı dezavantajların bulunduğu; kurumları bünyesinde anasınıfı olan yöneticilerin, veli kaynaklı, okul kaynaklı ve çocuk kaynaklı sorunlar yaşadıkları sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. Okul yöneticileri bu sorunlara ilişkin çözüm önerileri de getirmişlerdir. Bu öneriler ağırlıklı olarak okul öncesinin önemi hususunda veli farkındalığını arttırma, anasınıfları için ihtiyaç olan personel görevlendirmelerinin yapılması, bağımsız anaokulu sayısını arttırma şeklinde ortaya çıkmıştır.

Pre-school Training According To School Managers In Different Degrees

This study attempts to analyze the views of the school administrators working at preschool, primary and secondary schools regarding preschool education. Having a quality research model, the study used a phenomenological design. The working group consisted of 21 school administrators working at different education levels in Kahramanmaraş Province during the 2019-2020 academic year. The data was collected through interviews. Content analysis was used during data analysis. The findings revealed that all school administrators considered pre-school education necessary; they tried to support pre-school education within the institution’s facilities; they had expectations from pre-school education to prepare children for primary school, to teach them social rules, and to create their self-confidence and socialization infrastructures; there were various advantages and disadvantages offered by the kindergartens to the institution; the school administrators having kindergarten within their institutions experienced problems related to parents, school and children. School administrators also provided various recommendations. Parents' awareness about the importance of preschool education should be raised, the staff should be appointed to the kindergartens, and the number of independent kindergartens should be increased.
