Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı Eğitimi Alanında Lisansüstü Araştırmalar Üzerine Bir İnceleme

Abstract:

Bu çalışmanın amacı 2009-2019 yılları arasında, son on yılda Türk dili ve edebiyatı eğitimi alanında yapılan lisansüstü çalışmaların eğilimlerini, konu alanlarını, yöntemlerini, araştırmalarda kullanılan veri toplama araçlarını, veri analiz yöntemlerini ve örneklem özelliklerini incelemektir. İlgili alanyazın incelendiğinde Türk dili ve edebiyatı eğitimi alanında yapılan lisansüstü çalışmaların incelenmesine dönük herhangi bir araştırmaya rastlanmıştır. Bu durumdan hareketle bu çalışmanın gelecekte yapılacak lisansüstü çalışmalara yol göstereceği ve kaynaklık edeceği düşünülmektedir. Araştırmanın verilerini YÖK veri tabanında erişime açılmış 83 yüksek lisans tezi ve 19 doktora tezi oluşturmaktadır. Betimsel tarama modeli ile yürütülen bu çalışmada, doküman analizi ve içerik analizi yapılarak lisansüstü tezler incelenmiş, Türk dili ve edebiyatı eğitimi alanındaki araştırma eğilimleri betimlenmiştir. Yapılan lisansüstü çalışmaların çoğunlukla doküman incelemesi ve betimsel tarama ile yürütüldüğü, küçük örneklem grupları ile çalışıldığı, verilerin toplanmasında dokümanların, anket ve ölçeklerin sırasıyla daha çok kullanıldığı, verilerin analizinde ise basit istatistiki testlerden faydalanıldığı görülmüştür. Tezlerin Türk dili ve edebiyatı eğitimi konu alanları ise edebî eserlerin edebiyat eğitimi ve öğretimi açısından incelenmesi, öğretim programlarının değerlendirilmesi, ders kitapları ve değerler eğitimi gibi konuların fazlaca ele alındığı yönünde olmuştur. Türk dili ve edebiyatı eğitimine dair diğer alt araştırma alanlarının ise ihmal edildiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Abstract:

The aim of this study is to study the trends, subjects, methods, data collection tools used in research, data analysis methods and sampling characteristics of the postgraduate studies in the field of Turkish language and literature education in the last decade between 2009 and 2019. When the relevant field is studied, any research has been found aimed at the study of postgraduate studies in the field of Turkish language and literature education. From this point of view, this study is expected to lead to graduate studies that will be conducted in the future. The research data consists of 83 master theses and 19 doctoral theses open to access in the YÖK database. In this study, conducted with the visual scan model, document analysis and content analysis have studied postgraduate theses, the research trends in the field of Turkish language and literature education have been described. The graduate studies were mostly conducted by document examination and visual scanning, worked with small sampling groups, the data collection was more used by documents, surveys and scales, respectively, and the data analysis was used by simple statistical tests. The subjects of the theses in the Turkish language and literature education have been in the direction of the study of literary works in terms of literary education and teaching, the evaluation of teaching programs, the teaching books and the teaching of values. Other sub-research areas on the education of Turkish language and literature have been found to be ignored.

The aim of this study is to examine the trends, subject areas, methods, data collection tools, data analysis methods and sample characteristics of graduate studies conducted in the field of Turkish language and literature education in the last decade between 2009-2019. When the related literature is examined, no research has been found regarding the examination of postgraduate studies in the field of Turkish language and literature education. Therefore, it is thought that this study will lead to future graduate studies and will be the source of this study. The data of the study consists of 83 master's theses and 19 doctoral theses which are accessible in the HEC database. In this study conducted with survey, document analysis and content analysis were conducted and postgraduate theses were examined and research trends in Turkish language and literature education were described. It was seen that the postgraduate studies were mostly carried out with document analysis and survey, working with small sample groups, documents, questionnaires and scales were used more in order to collect data, and simple statistical tests were used in data analysis. The subject areas of Turkish language and literature education of the theses have been in the direction of examining literary works in terms of literature education and teaching, evaluation of curriculum, textbooks and values education. It has been concluded that other sub-research areas related to Turkish language and literature education are neglected.
