Abstract:

Thro history, people have been forced to leave the areas in which they live due to natural processes such as war or humidity or drought. Migration, which can occur by the will of the individual or beyond the will of the individual, constitutes an event that causes change and diversity both from a human and geographical point of view. It is known that migration has many economic, social, political and cultural impacts, but it is also known that it causes serious psychological destruction on people. In this sense, academic and scientific studies have been carried out which are subject to constant research and study of the fact of migration that causes various effects and causes various effects. In this context, the work called Canik and Migration provides awareness in terms of both the study of the effects of the concept of migration on the region and geography and the discovery of the migration movements in the Canik district of Samsun, one of the important cities of the Black Sea.  The work of Canik and Migration was awarded to the science world by Prof. Dr. Nedim Ipek, a member of the Faculty of Science and Literature of the University of Ondonuz May, the Faculty of History, the Faculty of History, the Faculty of History and History. The work of the author is an important area of research in the recent history of the Balkans, with valuable works on the migration and population movements, and a rich academic history of work in the local history.
