Sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) is defined as management of materials, information and capital flows, and cooperation among companies along the supply chain. In order to support management of materials, information and capital flow information systems have become compulsory nowadays. Therefore; the relationship between supply chain management and information systems has been the focus of this study. The aim of this study is to review studies conducted by Turkish researchers on information systems supported sustainable supply chain management and conduct an extended literature review in order to make suggestions for future research. Sciencedirect, Web of Science and Scopus databases were searched by using “supply chain, supply chain management, sustainable supply chain management, information systems, green supply chain” keywords and research articles from the results were listed to be examined. The number of articles was narrowed down from 57 to 40 after eliminating the recurring articles from different databases. Results of this study would be beneficial not only for researchers and managers but also for companies that are developing information systems for SSCM. Companies form different sectors might utilize the results, suggestions about information systems supported SSCM and good practices.
