Özet:

The Cyprus Peace Movement is designed to ensure the security and peace of the Turks on the island, and there are also people from Amassia who participate in this movement and are alive. In this study, the aim is to reveal the consciousness of history by referring to the opinions of the researchers. The research has taken advantage of the quality research approach. Interviews under this method have been conducted. The participants in the research are also Amasyalı Cyprus gazis. Structured conversation forms are used as a data collection tool. The form contains information about the personal, peace movement and the post-military life of the gays. For the reliability of the data collection tool, the findings were presented without interpretation, and the opinions of the gays were included in the classification of the data. The data is not collected and the video recording device is used. When the findings of the study were examined, the Gazians stated that war was a fact that humanity should not experience, but that it was inevitable in the circumstances. They also said they were proud of being a Gaze. Today’s youth should remember these values with appreciation and gratitude, and not forget that, as the gazis expressed, “the shahid’s bright gazis are honorable.” After all, it is clear that these experiences that the gays experience will be a reference source for young people, as it will ensure that these experiences are transmitted to the future generations and will contribute to the formation of history consciousness in terms of both our national history and its lighting to history.

The Cyprus Peace Operation was designed to provide peace and security for the Turks on the island and Amasya also has veterans participating in this campaign and surviving. In this study, it was aimed to reveal the historical consciousness by taking the opinions of the Ghazi participating in the research as references. The qualitative research approach in our research utilized the pattern of occurrence. Under this method, structured interviews were conducted. Participants of the study are the Amasya Cypriot Ghazis. Structured interview forms were used as data collection tools. The form contains information about the personal, peaceful, and post-military life of the veterans. For the reliability of the data collection tool, the findings were presented without interpretation, and the opinions of the Ghazis were included in the classification of the data. The collection of data has also benefited from the video recorder. When the findings of the research are examined, the giants stated that war is a fact that should not be experienced for humanity, but it is inevitable when it is necessary. They also stated that they are proud of being a veteran. Today's youth remember these values with appreciation and gratitude and do not forget that they are "honorable of the martyrs of the martyrs" as the voices express. As a result, it is obvious that these experiences will be transferred to future generations and will be a reference source for young people as they will contribute to the formation of history consciousness both in terms of national history and in terms of history.
