Abstract:

In our legal system there are three kinds of municipal administrations, including municipalities and villages. In 1982 the majority municipalities were established, which could be qualified as a special type of municipalities. The legislation on the major city municipalities, which has been undergoing a number of changes over time, has been amended by Law No. 6360, and some important innovations have been brought about in this regard.
