Abstract:

This study aims to identify academic views on the Social Information Design Program. The research work group consists of 17 academics working in the field of social information education of the educational faculty in the 2016-2017 educational year spring period. The method of sampling is used for the determination of the study group for the purpose of sampling methods. The criterion determined by the researchers for this study is that the participants in the study group are a specialist in the field of social information. The data of the research established in the basic quality research model in the quality research method was carried out using a standardized open-end e-mail conversation form prepared by the researchers based on the relevant field writing and expert opinions. The data obtained from participants were analyzed by content analysis method. When the findings obtained from the study are examined, the scholars see the draft program in general positively on subjects such as its content is simple and understandable, its up-to-date capture, its national-spiritual line, and the program is prepared in an unintended, progressive manner, its philosophy is not clear, some subjects are not given sufficient space, and the scale of evaluation is not expressed in a clear manner. However, it is understood by the views of academics that the draft program is more satisfying and rich in achievements, skills, concepts and values, but that there is not sufficient knowledge about how to teach them. Starting from the findings of the research, it is recommended that a process that is not urgent in the preparation of the teaching programs and in the course of this process the opinions from all stakeholders of the program, in the light of these opinions, the preparation of the programs is recommended.
