Sports physiotherapy acts in the prevention and treatment of injuries that are common to football athletes, aiming at their return to the sport, as soon as possible. The football performance analyst can use audiovisual resources as a tool to check team performance. The present work aims to identify, through the analysis of public domain videos available on the Internet, the main areas of the body in which injuries occur in athletes, determine the space of the field in which more occurs, determine the athlete most at risk of injury and list the injuries of football players. This study included 09 games of the championship of Ceará, 2019, representing 14.5% of the games available on the public domain video sharing platform. The results show that musculotendinous lesions are the most frequent, the lower limbs being the most affected region of the body. The area of the field where the highest number of fouls occurs is the field average, the attacker being the most affected tactical position, although the highest number of injuries occurs in the defender. It was also verified that most injuries occur without physical contact between athletes. The data of the present study allow us to conclude that the use of videos was extremely relevant for the analysis of soccer performance and could be a tool used by the technical team and sports physiotherapy.
