Öz: İslâm tarihinin ilk dönemlerinden itibaren vakî olan ihtilafların; siyâsî, ictimâî, ilmî bir çok etkene istinat ettiği; ilmî sahada kendisini özellikle fıkhî ve kelâmî meselelerde gösterdiği söylenebilir. Fıkhî ihtilafların ahkâma müteallik nasların anlaşılması ve yorumlanması noktasında metodolojik farklılaşmanın tabiî bir sonucu olarak ortaya çıktığı ve burada merkezde ekseriyetle hadislerin olduğu belirtilmektedir. Hz. Peygamber’den nakledilen hadislerin sadece ahkâm ile ilgili konularda değil kelâmî bazı meselelerde de tartışmaların özünü teşkil ettiği, özellikle ikinci asırdan itibaren hadisçilerin bu açıdan ihtilâfa sebep olan nakillerde bulundukları gerekçesiyle, muarızları tarafından tenkit edildiği de bilinen hususlardandır. Müşriklerin bulûğa ermeden ölen çocuklarının ahiretteki durumunu ele alan rivayetler ve konu etrafındaki tartışmalar incelendiğinde burada da ihtilafın mesnedinin hadisler olduğu görü- lecektir. Bu makalede hadislerin sadece fıkhî konularda değil kelâmî bazı meselelerde de ihtilaf kaynağı olduğu/olabileceği konu ile ilgili rivayetler üzerinden ele alınacaktır. Hadith as the Source of Some Theological Controversies Some Narrations About the Situations of the Children of Non-Muslim Parents in the Afterlife That Had Died Before the Puberty Abstract: It can be said that the controversies from the beginnings of Islamic history had contained and based on many political, social, scientific reasons. And it can be said that these controversies had especially occured in Islamic juristical and theological issues. It is implied that the Islamic juristical controversies had emerged as a result of the methodological diversification to understand and interpret the two foundations of the dogm of Islam (Quran and Sunnah) about the regulations. The hadiths said by the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) had formed the basis of the arguments about not only the regulations and also about the theological issues. But because of this, it has been known that, the hadith scholars had been criticized by the opponents due to the controversial narrations. When the narrations about the children of non-muslim parents that had died before the puberty and the controversies about this issue are analyzed, it will be seen that the sources of these controversies stem from the hadiths. In this article, the hadiths will be evaluated as the source of disputes not only about the Islamic juristical issues and also about the theological issues from the related narrations about this topic.
