And it can be said that these controversies had especially occured in Islamic legal and theological issues. It is implied that the Islamic legal controversies had emerged as a result of the methodological diversification to understand and interpret the two foundations of the dogm of Islam (Koran and Sunnah) about the regulations. The hadiths said by the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) had formed the basis of the arguments about not only the regulations and also about theological issues. But because of this, it has been known that, the hadith scholars had been criticized by the opponents due to the controversial narrations. When the narrations about the children of non-Muslim parents who had died before the puberty and the controversies about this issue are analyzed, it will be seen that the sources of these controversies come from the hadiths. In this article, the hadiths will be evaluated as the source of disputes not only about the Islamic legal issues and also about the theological issues from the related narrations about this topic.
