The aim of this study is to develop the "Adult-Square-Form of Tolerance Trends" on the ability to determine the levels of tolerance trends of adult individuals. First of all, a front shape in the likert style for the 30 ingredients in the material pool is structured. Three different study groups used in the study, the first study group of the study was 515, the second study group was 498 for the analysis of the scale confirming factor, and the third study group was 126 for the analysis of the scale test repetition test reliability. A total of 1139 adults formed the study group. As a result of the discovery factor analysis with the data obtained from the first study group, the scale’s total variance is 55%. A two-dimensional structure has been achieved under the names of respect and acceptance to the differences consisting of a total of 10 articles that describe 53. As a result of the verifying factor analysis done with the data of the second group of work to verify the achieved structure, the model’s compatibility values were good and the measurement values were quite well met. Test-up test reliability analysis was conducted to determine the scale reliability with the data obtained from the third study group. The analysis found that the differences were respected by .78, accepted by .77 and the scale total by .84 test-up test reliability ratio. Other reliability studies have also found that the scale and lower dimensions have provided reliable results. As a result, this scale developed is a valid and reliable tool.
The essential aim of this study was to constitute a ‘Tolerance Tendency Scale Form for Adults’ so as to specify individuals’ level of tolerance tendency. At the outset, a Likert-type pre-form in accordance with the 30 items within the item pool was composed. In this research which comprised three distinct groups of participants, 515 individuals constitute the first group who will go through the exploratory factor analysis evaluation, 498 individuals went through the confirmatory factor analysis evaluation, and 126 individuals were incorporated within the test-retest reliability analysis phase. In other words, 1139 individuals were totally involved in this study as participants. The result of the exploratory factor analysis which was generated by means of the data obtained from the first group of participants, a two-dimensional structure under the names of ‘respect for differences’ and ‘acceptance’ which were composed of ten items specifying 55.53 % of the total variance of the scale was obtained. So as to verify this structure, it was conceived that the compliance values of the model were convenient and that they fulfilled the criteria values at a significant level in the wake of the confirmatory factor analysis by means of the data obtained from the second study group. With the results of the test-retest, reliability analysis generated by means of the data obtained from the third group of participants so as to clarify the reliability of the scale, it was designated that the coefficient value for ‘respect for differences’ was 78, for ‘acceptance’ 77 and for the total scale 84. In addition to this, as a result of the alternative reliability studies, it was ascertained that the scale and its sub-aspects had revealed reliable outcomes. As a conclusion, it could be identified that this scale which was constituted in the wake of the whole process is a reliable and valid instrument.
