Araştırmanın amacı, üniversitelerde staj (işbaşı eğitimi) uygulamasının gerçekleştirildiği bölümlerden birisi olan Mehmet Akif Ersoy Üniversitesi Zeliha Tolunay Uygulamalı Teknoloji ve İşletmecilik Yüksekokulu, Muhasebe ve Finansal Yönetim Bölümünde öğrenim gören muhasebe meslek adayı öğrencilerin stajdan beklentilerinin belirlenmesi ve bu beklentileri gerçekleşme durumlarının araştırılmasıdır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, Muhasebe ve Finansal Yönetim Bölümü öğrencilerinden 120 kişiye hem staj öncesi hem de staj sonrası anket uygulandığı için araştırma verileri, hem staj öncesi hem de staj sonrası ankete gönüllü olarak yanıt veren öğrencilerinden elde edilmiştir. Araştırma amacına uygun olarak oluşturulan hipotezler, 6 boyuta dönüştürülen soruların ortalamaları alınarak test edilmiştir. Araştırma verileri öncelikle Cronbach Alpha Testine tabi tutulmuştur. Hipotez testleri Paired Samples T Testi (Bağımlı İki Örnek t-Testi) ile sonuçlandırılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, oluşturulan hipotezden 5’i kabul edilmiş, 1’i ise red edilmiştir.
The purpose of the research is to determine the expectations of the students from the stage (working education) in the universities and to investigate the situations of realization of these expectations in the University of Mehmet Akif Ersoy Zeliha Tolunay Applied Technology and Business Administration, Accounting and Financial Management Department. For this purpose, the research data were obtained from students who voluntarily responded to both the pre- and post-stage surveys, as they were applied to 120 students from the Department of Accounting and Financial Management. The hypotheses created according to the purpose of the research were tested by taking the average of the questions converted to 6 dimensions. The research data were first subjected to the Cronbach Alpha Test. The hypothesis tests are concluded with the Paired Samples T Test (T-Test of Two Dependent Samples). According to the research, 5 of the created hypotheses were accepted and 1 was rejected.
The aim of this research study is to determine the expectations of accounting professional candidates attending Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, Zeliha Tolunay School of Technology and Business Administration, Department of Accounting and Financial Management, which is one of the departments that implement the internship (on-the-job training) in university level, and to examine the realization levels of these expectations. For this purpose, a survey was implemented to 120 students attending the Department of Accounting and Financial Management before and after the internship program. Therefore, the data of the research was obtained from the students who voluntarily responded to the survey. The hypotheses developed in line with the purpose of the research study were tested by averaging the questions which were converted into 6 dimensions. Initially the Cronbach Alpha test was applied to the data of the research. The tests of the hypotheses were concluded through the Paired Samples T Test. As the conclusion of the study, 5 of the hypotheses were admitted while 1 of them was rejected.
