Stratejik yönetim kapsamında işletmelerin değer yaratabilmesi için “farklılaşma” ya da “maliyet liderliği” yeteneklerini geliştirmeleri gerekmektedir. Bu amaçla geliştirilen Değer zinciri analizi ile rekabet üstünlüğü sağlanmaya çalışılmaktadır. Organizasyonlar için yol gösterici özellik gösteren bu analizle ilgili olarak, savunma sektöründe çalışanların değer zinciri analizi algıları belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu maksatla; nicel araştırma yöntemi ile uzman kişilerden anket yoluyla elde edilen veriler sonucunda bir değerlendirme yapılmıştır. Bu kapsamda yöneticilerin değer zinciri analizini oluşturan temel ve destek faaliyetlerini önceliklendirmeleri istenmiş ve bu faktörlerin ağırlıkları Analitik Hiyerarşi Yöntemi (AHY) ile belirlenmiştir. Araştırma ile yazında yapılan uygulamalara farklı bir boyut kazandırılmaya çalışılmış olup, elde edilen bulgular ile yöneticilere önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
In the scope of strategic management, in order to create value, organizations should improve their competence as "differentation" or "cost management". Developed for this purpose with the Value Chain Analysis is to provide competitive advantage. The perceptions of defence sector workers' about this analysis which has guiding feature has been tried to be examined. As a result of data obtained through surveys of experts with quantitative research methods, there has been made an assessment. In this context, forming managers' value chain analysis, it has been requested to make a priority of primary actvities and support activities. Besides weights of these factors were determined by the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). With this study it has been tried to gain a different dimension to such kind of research. With these findings, some suggestions have been given to managers.
