The aim of this study is to examine the perfectionism and psychological vulnerability levels of emerging adults in terms of various variables (gender, age, happy childhood life and perceived parental attitude). In this quantitative study, the predictive relational screening model was used. The participants of the study consisted of 320 (248 females and 72 males) emerging adults who were selected by random sampling. “The Personal Information Form”, the “Frost Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale” and the “Psychological Vulnerability Scale” were used to collect the data for the study. Pearson product-moment correlation analysis, simple linear regression analysis, independent samples t-test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), and LCD post hoc test. According to the findings obtained as a result of the analysis of the data there is a significant positive relationship between the perfectionism levels and psychological vulnerability levels in emerging adults. However, the psychological vulnerability and perfectionism scores of the participants do not differ statistically according to the gender in significant. Emerging adults who do not have a happy childhood are psychologically more vulnerable and more perfectionist than those who do. Emerging adults who describe their mothers' and fathers' children attitudes as democratic were found to be less psychologically vulnerable and less perfectionist. The findings of the study were discussed in the light of related studies.
