Fotoğrafın icadından bu yana gelişen fotoğraf teknolojileri bir çok fotoğraf tekniğini de beraberinde getirmiştir. Bunlardan biri de time-lapse (zaman aralıklı) çekim tekniğidir. Bir sanat ürünü olan ve aynı zamanda görsel iletişim aracı olarak da karşımıza çıkan time-lapse çalışmalar, sinemada, televizyonda, reklamlarda, tanıtım filmlerinde ve belgesellerde sıklıkla kullanılmıştır. Zamanın akışı, time-lapse çekim tekniği ile birlikte etkili bir şekilde izleyiciyle buluşmuştur. Bu araştırmada, belirli zaman aralıklarıyla çekilen fotoğrafların arka arkaya hızlı bir şekilde oynatılarak oluşturulması esasına dayanan time-lapse tekniğinin nasıl yapıldığı gösterilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu bağlamda, fotoğrafın tarihsel gelişim süreci incelenerek, fotoğrafın temel konularından biri olan kompozisyon, Elazığ ili ve Harput Yöresi fotoğraflanarak anlatılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; time-lapse çalışmaların, sanatsal etkilerinin yanında güçlü bir görsel iletişim aracı olduğu saptanmıştır. Aynı zamanda bu çalışma ile Elazığ ilinin tanıtımına da katkı sağlanmaya çalışılmıştır.
Photography technology has evolved since the invention of photography and has brought many photographic techniques together. One of them is the time-lapse (time interval) drawing technique. Time-lapse works, which are an art product and are also seen as a means of visual communication, are often used in the cinema, television, advertising, promotional films and documentaries. The flow of time has effectively met the audience along with the time-lapse drawing technique. This study has been trying to show how the time-lapse technique is made based on the essence of making photos taken with certain time intervals by quickly playing backward. In this context, the historical development process of the photo is studied, the composition, which is one of the core topics of the photo, is described by photography, and the Harput Area. The research has found that time-lapse studies, along with their artistic effects, are a powerful visual communication tool. In addition, it is also designed to contribute to the promotion of this work.
Photographic technologies that have evolved since the discovery of photography have brought together many photographic techniques. One of these is a time-lapse technique. Time-lapse is visual communication tool as well as art product. Time-lapse technique is used in cinema, television, advertisements, promotional films and documentary films. Together with the time-lapse technique, the flow of time is effectively met with the audience. In this study, it was tried to show how the time-lapse technique of photographs taken at certain time intervals was done. In this sense, the historical development process of the photograph is examined and the composition, which is one of the main subjects of the photo, is explained with the photographs of Elazığ and Harput regions. As a result of the research; it has also been found that time-lapse work is a powerful visual communication tool besides artistic influences. At the same time, it was tried to contribute to the promotion of Elazığ with this study.
