Globalization upholds the capitalist economic system and intends to stereotype nation states in terms of economic, political, social, cultural and legal aspects. On the other hand, globalization also attempts to regionally dismember nation states. As a matter of fact, globalization, which is supported by the global capital, splits the power of the nation states by means of adding another dimension to their traditional structures, powers and functions. Consequently, national states’ attempts to determine free market regarding their own future and attempts to implement the same are interrupted. This article discusses the sovereignty crisis created on nation states by the globalization concept and capital movements with reference to perspective of the new world order that emerged with the coordination of globalization and global capital.
