According the History Course Secondary Education Program one of the general objectives at the history lesson is to gain the ability to use correct, effective and beautiful Turkish expressions while create written and oral history text. In this study investigated what extent these substances can be realized. For this purpose Anatolian High School, Vocational High School and Imam-Khatib high school students from Grade 10 history course of the 2013-2014 school year students written papers were examined. Descriptive analysis technique was used in this study. As a result, high school students in historical narratives inadequacies and inaccuracies in Turkish, while the use of written expressions were observed.
