Türk solunda Nâzım Hikmet bir idoldür. Politik düşüncelerinin ve şiirlerinin Marksist, komünist ve Leninist yazarlar, şair ve düşünürler üzerinde güçlü bir etkisi vardır. Nâzım Hikmet’le aynı ideolojiyi paylaşan yazarların ve şairlerin eserleri incelendiğinde bu eserlerde Nâzım Hikmet ideolojisini ve üslubunu okumak mümkündür. Marksist yazar Sabiha Sertel ve Çitra Roy ile Babası romanı bu kategoride değerlendirilebilecek özelliklere sahiptir. İngiliz emperyalizmine karşı Hindistan’da başlatılan bağımsızlık mücadelesini anlatan romanın konusu Nâzım Hikmet’in Benerci Kendisini Niçin Öldürdü? şiirinin temasıyla aynıdır. Politik mesajlar içeren eserler arasında üslup benzerliği de bulunmaktadır. Emperyalist, baskıcı güçlere karşı bağımsızlık mücadelesi evrensel bir olgudur. Her iki yazar da anlatılarında Hindistan’daki bağımsızlık mücadelesini desteklemektedirler. Yazarların Hintli direnişçileri destekleyen tavırları aslında hiç de barışık olmadıkları ve ters düştükleri Türkiye Cumhuriyeti ideolojisine karşı tepkilerini yansıtmaktadır. Çünkü gerek Nâzım Hikmet’in gerekse Sabiha Sertel’in politik görüşleri Cumhuriyeti ideolojisine aykırıdır. Her iki solcu yazar da mevcut otorite aleyhinde örgüt faaliyetlerinde bulunmuşlardır. Çalışmanın temel amacı Benerci Kendini Niçin Öldürdü?şiiri ve Çitra Roy ile Babası romanı özelinde Nâzım Hikmet’in Marksist yazarlar üzerindeki etkisini ortaya çıkarmaktır. Çalışmada evren örneklem modeli; nitel araştırma yöntemi ve doküman inceleme metodu kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgular, gazeteci yazar Sabiha Sertel’in Nâzım Hikmet’in şiirlerinden etkilendiğini ortaya çıkarmıştır. Şairlik yönü olmayan Marksist yazar, Nâzım Hikmet özentisini farklı bir edebî türle (roman) yansıtmıştır.
Nazim Hikmet is an idol on the Turkish left. His political thoughts and poems have a strong influence on Marxist, Communist and Leninist writers, poets and philosophers. When examining the works of writers and poets who share the same ideology as Nazim wisdom, it is possible to read the ideology and style of Nazim wisdom in these works. Marxist writer, Sabiha Sertel and every novel, Chıtra Roy and His Father have the characteristics to be considered in this category. The subject of the novel, which is about the struggle for independence launched in India against British imperialism, is the same with the subject of Nazim Hikmet's poem, Why did Benerci Kill Himself? There is also a stylistic similarity among the works containing political messages. The struggle for independence against imperialist and repressive forces is a universal phenomenon. Both writers support the struggle for independence in India in their narratives. The authors' attitudes supporting Indian insurgents reflect their reactions to the ideology of the Turkish Republic, in which they are contrary and not at peace because both Nazim Hikmet and Sabiha Sertel's political opinions are against the ideology of the Republic. Both leftist writers have organized activities against the existing authority. The main purpose of the study is to reveal Nazim Hikmet’s influence on Marxist writers, by examining the poem, Why did Benerci Kill Himself? and the novel, Chıtra Roy and His Father. In this study, the model of population and sample; qualitative research method and document review method were used. The results of the research revealed that the journalist, Sabiha Sertel was influenced by the poems of Nazım Hikmet. The Marxist writer, who is not a poet in real, reflected every emulation of Nazim Hikmet with a different literary genre (novel).
