Each community has got special values or values system. The basic aim of the schools is to educate virtuous persons who had healthy, equipped with good features, idealistic. Values education is updated and improved form of morals education and character training in the past. Values education has been importance matter of education in the last time. Values education has become a current use in consuquence of increased violence events in schools, depriveding from love and respect, to take narcotic and smoke. Values education has applied in schools with projects that arranged by Provincial National Directorates. The values that being wanted to make acquired are values like love, responsibility, respect, tolerance, self-confidence, emphaty, justice, courage, leadership, politeness, friendship, helping, cleanliness, honesty, straightforwardness, hospitality, to be patriotic, tenderness, mercy, sharing, humbleness, industriousness, kindness, self-sacrifice. The books that was important in the human life, starts to be effective and come into the person’s life. It’s incontestable today any more that the child has got frame of mind responsible is to be possible by the quality books. One nation of children’s literature works are concerned closely by that nation wants to what sort of future. Some values that wanted to make acquired to person in the education period, could be acquired by the literary works.The aim of this study is to determine emphasized values in Kemalettin Tuğcu’s novels. Kemalettin Tuğcu that writes books over 300 for children between 1940-1970; has emphasized values like love, mercy, thriftiness, helping, earning by work, patience, religion, hospitality concentratedly in his novels. Kemalettin Tuğcu’s novels can be used as material in process that acquired this values to child through his novels are simple, fluent and easy to read, the themes of novels are current.
