Abstract:

In the research, it was aimed to determine the level of organizational silence of the teachers, the effect of justice and commitment on organizational silence. The research is in the relational screening model. The study group of the research consists of 270 teachers working in secondary school in Burdur. Research data was collected with the organizational justice scale developed by Niehoff and Moorman and adopted into Turkish by Polat, the organizational commitment scale developed by Kahveci and the organizational silence scale developed by Erenler. In the study, t-test, one-way analysis of variance and multiple regression analysis were used. As a result of analyses, it was understood that the organizational silence perception of the teachers was at the low level, the organizational silence perception of the teachers differed significantly according to the school type and the organizational silence perception of the vocational high school teachers was higher. A medium-level negative significant relation was determined between organizational silence and organizational justice and organizational commitment. It was understood that 28.3% of the organizational silence was explained by interactional justice and continuation commitment
