Abstract:

Today, issues related to the elderly arise more frequently due to a significant increase in the elderly population. It is difficult to find qualified personnel to care for the elderly population. Thanks to technological innovations introduced by industry 4.0, care robots seem to be a solution to the personnel shortage in eldercare. These robots meet the needs of the elderly and can also be their friends because they can communicate with people. This study examines industry 4.0 developments related to the elderly.
