Amaç – Bu çalışma ile Uygulamalı Girişimcilik Eğitimi alan üniversite öğrencilerinin girişimci kişilik özelliklerinin kariyer tercihlerine olan etkisinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Yöntem – Çalışmanın evrenini Afyon Kocatepe Üniversitesi Fen Edebiyat Fakültesi, İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi, Teknoloji Fakültesi ve Turizm Fakültesinde öğrenim gören üçüncü ve dördüncü sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise Uygulamalı Girişimcilik Eğitimi alan ve bu kitlenin içerisinden ankete geri dönüş yapan 595 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Elde edilen verileri analiz edebilmek ve anketin güvenilirliğini belirlemek amacıyla, sosyal bilimler için SPSS istatistik paket programı kullanılmıştır. SPSS istatistik paket programı aracılığı ile anketlerin güvenilirliğini ölçmek için Güvenilirlik Analizi, anket ifadelerine verilen cevapların normal dağılıp dağılmadığını ölçmek için Normallik Testi, anket ifadelerinin faktör yüklerinin değerini analiz etmek için Faktör Analizi ve hipotezleri test etmek için Çoklu Regresyon Analizi, Bağımsız Örneklem T-Testi ve Korelasyon Analizi kullanılmıştır. Bulgular – Araştırmada öğrencilerin girişimci kişilik özellikleri ile kariyer değerleri arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Girişimci kişilik özellikleri üzerinde en fazla etkiye sahip faktörün saf meydan okuma olduğu kariyer değerleri üzerinde ise en fazla etkiye sahip girişimci kişilik özelliği alt boyutunun başarı ihtiyacı olduğu saptanmıştır. Girişimcilik eğitimi ile kariyer değerleri, girişimci kişilik özellikleri ve girişimcilik eğilimi arasında pozitif doğrusal bir ilişki olduğu belirlenmiştir. Tartışma – Araştırmanın evrenini, Afyon Kocatepe Üniversitesi Fen Edebiyat Fakültesi, İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi, Teknoloji Fakültesi ve Turizm Fakültesinde öğrenim gören Uygulamalı Girişimcilik Dersi alan üçüncü ve dördüncü sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Kullanıcı araştırmasının yalnızca belirli fakültelerde öğrenim gören Uygulamalı Girişimcilik Eğitimi alan öğrenciler ile yapılmış olması bu çalışmanın sınırlılıklarını oluşturmaktadır. Bu nedenle girişimcilik eğitimi alan ve girişimcilik eğitimi almayan öğrencilerin girişimci kişilik özelliklerinin ve kariyer değerlerinin gelişimi karşılaştırılamamıştır. Girişimcilik eğitiminin girişimci kişilik özellikleri ve kariyer değerleri üzerindeki etkisinin daha ayrıntılı olarak incelenebilmesi için girişimcilik eğitimi alan ve girişimcilik eğitimi almayan öğrencilerden oluşan bir örneklem grubu üzerinde yapılacak olan kullanıcı araştırmasını kapsayan çalışmalar yapılabilir. Sonuç olarak literatürdeki bilgiler ve kullanıcı araştırması sonucunda toplanan verilerin değerlendirilmesiyle elde edilen bulgular, girişimci kişilik özellikleri, kariyer değerleri ve girişimcilik eğitimi ile girişimcilik eğilimi ve kariyer tercihinde girişimciliğe yer verme arasında anlamlı ilişkiler olduğunu ortaya koymuştur.
Purpose - This study aims to study the impact of entrepreneurial personality characteristics of university students in Applied Entrepreneurial Education on their career preferences. Method - The universe of study is formed by third and fourth-class students studying at the Faculty of Science and Literature, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Technology and Faculty of Tourism. The sample of the study is composed of 595 students who received Applied Entrepreneurship Education and returned to the survey from this audience. In order to analyze the obtained data and to determine the reliability of the survey, the SPSS statistical package program for social sciences has been used. To measure the reliability of surveys through the SPSS statistical package program, reliability analysis, the Normality test, to measure whether the answers given to the survey statements are normally distributed or not, the Factor analysis and the Multiple Regression analysis, the Independent Example T-Test and the Correlation Analysis, to analyze the value of the factor burden of the survey statements, and to test the hypotheses. The findings - The study has concluded that there is a meaningful relationship between student entrepreneurial personality characteristics and career values. On the career values where the factor that has the most impact on the characteristics of entrepreneurial personality is pure challenge, the underdimensional characteristic of entrepreneurial personality that has the most impact is the need for success. Entrepreneurship education has been established as a positive linear relationship between career values, entrepreneurial personality characteristics and entrepreneurial tendency. The universe of research, Afyon Kocatepe University School of Science and Literature, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Technology and Faculty of Tourism forms third and fourth-class students in the field of Applied Entrepreneurship Course. The fact that user research is done with students who receive Applied Entrepreneurship Education studying only in certain faculties constitutes the limitations of this study. Therefore, the development of entrepreneurial personality characteristics and career values of students who receive entrepreneurial education and who do not receive entrepreneurial education has not been compared. In order to further explore the impact of entrepreneurial training on entrepreneurial personality characteristics and career values, studies can be conducted to cover the user research that will be done on a sample group of students who receive entrepreneurial training and who do not receive entrepreneurial training. As a result, the findings obtained by the assessment of information in literature and data collected as a result of user research have shown that there are meaningful relationships between entrepreneurial personality characteristics, career values and entrepreneurial education and entrepreneurial tendency and entrepreneurial preference.
