Abstract:

In this study, according to the teachers' perceptions, the relationship between the ethical leadership characteristics of school managers and organizational sinism was studied. In the framework of the research done according to the relational scan model, 328 teachers who worked in the 2018-2019 educational year in the Istanbul district of Beşiktaş have been applied the Ethical Leadership Scale (Yılmaz, 2005) and the Organizational Synonym Scale (Kasalak and Bilgin Aksu, 2014). The analysis of the data is also done according to the size of the scales. First of all, the normal assumptions of the data were checked. In cases where the assumptions are met, the gender variable has been tested, the pearson correlation ratio has been used to study the one-way variance analysis and the relationship between ethical leadership and organizational sinism in the age and school work time variable. In cases where the assumptions are not met, the Mann Whitney U test in the gender variable; the Kruskal Wallis test in the senior and school work time variable, the spearman correlation ratio was used to study the relationship between ethical leadership and organizational sinism. According to the findings obtained, there is no significant difference between the ethical leadership characteristics of school managers and organizational sinism in gender, age and work variables in school, but there is no relationship between the two variables.
