Abstract:

Bu çalışmada, 1986-2019 yılları arasında Türkiye’de yapılan ve başlığında “din eğitimi” ifadesi yer alan lisansüstü tezlerin; tür, yıl, yazarın cinsiyeti, yabancı dil, üniversite, yöntem, enstitü, anabilim dalı, bilim dalı, danışman sayısı gibi farklı değişkenler açısından incelenmesi ve analiz edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada tarama modeli benimsenmiş, literatür taraması, doküman incelemesi ve odak grup tartışması yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Bu bağlamda araştırma, betimsel ve kesitsel bir araştırma özelliği taşımaktadır. Araştırmada, Yükseköğretim Kurulu Yayın ve Dokümantasyon Daire Başkanlığı Ulusal Tez Merkezi veri tabanında kayıtlı bulunan 415 lisansüstü çalışmanın olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bunların 328’i yüksek lisans, 87’i ise doktora tezidir. Çalışmada, erişim izni bulunan 272’si yüksek lisans, 78’i doktora olmak üzere toplam 350 lisansüstü tez incelenmiş ve çeşitli değişkenler açısından analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre; lisansüstü çalışmalarda yazarın cinsiyeti değişkeni olarak “erkekler”, dil değişkeni olarak “Türkçe”, üniversite değişkeni olarak “Marmara Üniversitesi”, konu alanı değişkeni olarak “örgün din eğitimi”, yöntem olarak “literatür taraması”, enstitü değişkeni olarak “sosyal bilimleri enstitüsü”, anabilim dalı değişkeni olarak “felsefe ve din bilimleri”, bilim dalı değişkeni olarak “din eğitimi”, danışman sayısı değişkeni olarak ise “tek danışman” ön plana çıkmaktadır. Ayrıca, son yıllarda bazı eksikliklerle birlikte din eğitimi ile ilgili yapılan lisansüstü çalışmalar, yeni konu yönelimleri ve yöntem açısından büyük bir ivme kazanmıştır. Bu çalışmaların bilimsel araştırma paradigmalarına dayalı olarak yürütülmesi de nicelik ve nitelik olarak gelişim göstermiştir.

A Analysis Of Higher Licensing and Doctoral Thesis In Religious Education In Turkey (1986-2019)

Abstract:

This study aims to study and analyze postgraduate theses in Turkey between 1986 and 2019 and the expression of "religious education" in the title; type, year, sex of the writer, foreign language, university, method, institut, anatomy branch, science branch, number of consultants. The research has adopted the scanning model, literary scanning, document review and focus group discussion methods have been used. In this context, the research carries an imaginary and cutting-edge research character. The study found that there were 415 undergraduate studies registered in the database of the National Thesis Center of the Department of Publication and Documentation of the Higher Education Council. Of these, 328 are undergraduate and 87 are doctoral theses. In the study, a total of 350 undergraduate theses, including 272 master’s, 78 doctoral, with access permits, were studied and analyzed in terms of various variables. According to the research results; in postgraduate studies the writer's gender variable as "men", language variable as "Turkish", university variable as "Marmara University", subject area variable as "originary religious education", method as "literature scan", institute variable as "Social Sciences Institute", anabolic branch variable as "philosophy and religious sciences", science variable as "religious education", and the number of consultants variable as "one consultant" are on the forefront. Additionally, with some shortcomings in recent years, graduate studies related to religious education have gained a great boost in terms of new subjects and methods. The conduct of these studies on the basis of scientific research paradigms has also demonstrated qualitative and qualitative development.

The aim of this article is to examine and analyze post graduate dissertations of religious education in terms of different variables such as type, year, gender, foreign language, university, method, institute, department and number of academic advisors, between years 1986-2019. The research model was adopted and literature review, document analysis and focus group interview methods were used. In this context, the research is descriptive and cross-sectional. In the research, it was determined that there were 415 post graduate studies registered in the database of National Thesis Center of Department of Publication and Documentation of Higher Education Council. 328 of these studies, are master thesis and 87 are doctoral dissertations. Since the theses without access permission could not be reached, 272 master thesis and 78 doctoral dissertations, totally 350 post graduate studies, were examined in terms of various variables. According to the results of the research; “men” as the gender variable, “Turkish” as the language variable, “Marmara University” as the university variable, “formal religious education” topic as the subject variable,“ literature review” as the method variable, “institute of social sciences”as the institute variable, “philosophy and religious sciences” as the department variable, “religious education” as the science variable, and“ single academic advisor”as the number of academic advisors in post graduate studies. According to the results of the research; “men” as the gender variable, “Turkish” as the language variable, “Marmara University” as the university variable, “formal religious education” as the topic variable, “literature review” as the method variable, “institute of social sciences” as the institute variable, “philosophy and religious sciences” as the department variable, “religious education” as the science variable and “single consultant” as the number of consultant variable in post graduate studies. However, in recent years, post graduate studies on religious education have gained momentum in terms of new subject orientations and method with some deficiencies. Conducting these studies based on scientific research paradigms has also improved in quantity and quality.
