Abstract:

The aim of this study is to study the entrepreneurial trends and characteristics of the students of the Department of Health Management in terms of some socio-demographic variables. In this context, Kahramanmaraş Sütçü Imam University and Istanbul Development University are defined as the study university for students of the Department of Health Management who are trained at the bachelor's level. To obtain data, the entrepreneurship scale developed for university students by Yılmaz and Sünbül (2009) has been used. The data obtained is divided into sub-dimensions using the SPSS (Statistical Package For The Social Science) Version 22 program through the "Discovery Factor Analysis". Using comparative statistical analyses, it has been studied whether the subdimensions differ significantly in terms of the socio-demographic characteristics of the participants. It is also determined by the "Pearson Correlation" analysis whether there is a meaningful relationship between the subdimensions. According to the research findings, in some of the underdimensions of the entrepreneurship scale, there is a significant difference in comparing the socio-demographic characteristics of participants. Furthermore, the correlation analysis has found that there is a linear and positive relationship between the subdimensions that can also be assessed as entrepreneurial personality characteristics.
