Abstract:

The new capabilities offered by the IT (IT) are changing the production and consumption mechanisms and developing the techniques and standards used in economic activities and rapidly reforming the social and economic structure. In this process, women are required to follow technological developments closely to improve their competitive strengths, and for this they are also required to emphasize technology transfer or research and development activities. In this context, companies that can adapt information technology to enterprise processes will gain benefits such as the creation of new products and services, new business routes, new work systems and new ways of acquiring knowledge. In this study, the impact on the performance of the use of information technology in the KOBIs that produce for exports is investigated. In this context, the study has referred to the concept of KOBI and the scope of this concept; the concept of computer technologies and the importance and elements of this concept; the concept and dimensions of performance. In the last part of the study, the results obtained from the survey study, which was prepared to determine the organizational performance effects of the information technologies used in the KOBIs that are producing for exports in the Konya Organized Industrial Areas, were evaluated. The research has shown that the use of information technology has a positive impact on the performance of the business.
