Abstract:

In this study, emphasize the changes occurred in urbanization phenomenon, taking into account living developments to postmodernism from modernism. It is take place transition process to postfordism from fordism at infrastructure; to postmodernism from modernism at superstructure of changes which is the basis of science and progress. The urbanization, industrialization and modernization process has been accompanied by the Industrial Revolution. Modernism reflected in all spheres of the social structure the economic structure, cultural processes, mainly political life as the type of a change and has been the most decisive factor on the formation of the social structure as the 21st century until. Discourse of modernity and that followed postmodernity has an important place in the direction of signification transformations being at urban. This change which manifests itself at the process of starting with modernism in the socio-economic structures, social relations and urban lifestyles, has taken more different forms in today’s society so-called post-modern society. The postmodern discourse has knocked on its own identity the urban structure reshaped in advances in information-communications technologies in the globalization process. In this context, reflections to urban spaces of changing urbanization by modernism and postmodernism is the main investigation objective of study.
