Bu çalışmanın amacı, Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı Giriş/Özel Yetenek Sınavına giren adayların cinsiyet, yaş, mezun olunan lise, anne-babanın eğitim durumu, ailenin gelir düzeyi, çalınan çalgı ve sınavı kazanma durumlarının kaygı düzeylerini nasıl etkilediğini incelemektir. Araştırma, 2008-2009 yılında Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı’nda Giriş/Özel Yetenek Sınavına giren 255 aday öğrenciyi kapsamaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri C.D. Spielberger ve arkadaşları tarafından geliştirilip, Öner (1990) tarafından Türkçe’ye uyarlanan “Kendini Değerlendirme Anketi” ve kaygı düzeyini etkileyebileceği düşünülen sekiz değişkenden oluşan “Kişisel Bilgi Anketi” ile toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler düzenlenerek, bağımsız gruplar t-testi, varyans analizi, kruskal wallis H testi ve mann-whitney U- testi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Analiz sonucu adayların kaygı düzeylerinin, cinsiyet ve sınav başarı durumuna göre farklılaştığı; mezun olunan lise, yaş, anne-babanın eğitim durumu, ailenin gelir düzeyi ve çalınan çalgı durumuna göre farklılaşmadığı görülmüştür. The aim of this study is to explore how the gender, age, high school graduates, the educational status of the parents, the income level of the family, the stolen play and the exam winning situations affect the level of anxiety. The study covers 255 candidates who entered the Introduction/Special Talent Exam at the Ondew May University Music Education Department in 2008-2009. The data of the study C.D. It was developed and collected by Spielberger and his friends, with the "Self Assessment Survey" adapted to the Turkish by Öner (1990) and the "Personal Information Survey" consisting of eight variables that may affect the level of anxiety. The obtained data was organized, independent groups were analyzed using t-test, variance analysis, cross-wallis H test and mann-whitney U- test. The results of the analysis found that the level of concern of the candidates varied according to gender and exam success; the graduated high school, age, the educational status of the parents, the income level of the family and the state of the stolen play.
