Bu çalışmanın amacı, Fen Bilgisi ve Matematik Öğretmenliği öğrencilerinin kaygı düzeylerinin branş, cinsiyet, başarı durumu, arkadaşlık ilişkileri, yapmayı istediği meslek, barınma durumu, kardeş sayısı, anne-baba tutumu ve ekonomik durumdan nasıl etkilendiğini araştırmaktır. Araştırma, 2005–2006 öğretim yılında Dicle Üniversitesi Ziya Gökalp Eğitim Fakültesi İlköğretim Bölümü Fen Bilgisi ve Matematik Öğretmenliği programına devam eden 186 öğrenci üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Spielberger ve arkadaşları tarafından İngilizce olarak geliştirilen ve Öner ile Le Compte (1998) tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanan “Kendini Değerlendirme Anketi” ve kaygı düzeyini etkileyebileceği düşünülen dokuz etmenden oluşan “Kişisel Bilgi Anketi” kullanılmıştır. Bu anketteki sorulara eksiksiz yanıt veren 164 öğrencinin sonuçları değerlendirmeye alınmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde bağımsız gruplar t-testi, varyans analizi ve Scheffé testi teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Analiz sonuçları, Fen Bilgisi ve Matematik Öğretmenliği öğrencilerinin kaygı düzeylerinin cinsiyet, başarı durumu ve anne-baba tutumları gibi değişkenlerden etkilendiğini göstermiştir
The aim of this study is to explore how the level of concern of the students in Science and Mathematics Teaching is affected by the branch, gender, success status, friendship relationships, the profession they want to do, residence status, brothers and sisters, parent-parent attitude and economic status. The research was conducted on 186 students in the 2005-2006 academic year of the Dicle University Ziya Gökalp Faculty of Education in the Primary Education Department of Science and Mathematics teaching program. The study used the "Personal Information Survey" which was developed in English by Spielberger and his colleagues as a data collection tool and adapted to English by the "Self Assessment Survey" and "Personal Information Survey" which is considered to affect the level of anxiety. The results of this survey were taken to be evaluated by 164 students who answered the full questions. In the analysis of the obtained data, independent groups have been tested, variance analysis and Scheffé test techniques. Analysis results showed that science knowledge and mathematics teaching students' worries levels are affected by variables such as gender, success status and parent attitudes.
