Abstract:

This study describes the studies of Tuncer Gülensoy, Altayistic and Mongol People's Sciences. Gülensoy is a scientist who believes that Turkish, Mongol, Mançu-Tunguz, Korean and Japanese are related languages and works in this field. Gülensoy explained in all his work that special studies on Mongol should be done in order to better understand the relativity between the Altai languages. Gülensoy, in addition to his work on the common characteristics of the Altay languages, has also done many studies on Mongolism. Gülensoy was the first scientist to graduate in Mongolian. The second important work of the Mongolians, "Altan Topçi", was translated into Turkish. Gülensoy, in addition to many studies on Mongol, has also done many studies on Mongol People's Science. In his studies, Gülensoy has shown similarities in terms of culture, orphans and ananas, mythology, legend, military art, beliefs and personal names that are common in Turks and Mongols.   In our study, we included Gülensoy’s 6 articles on Altayistik, 8 articles on Mongol People’s Science, a total of 14 articles.
