Abstract:

This study was carried out within the scope of preparing an action plan about the invasive and alien species in the lake for the Bolu Gölcük Lake Nature Park. Between April and October 2022, floristic studies were carried out in the coastal areas of the lake, and the natural and alien plant species of the lake and the societies formed by them were determined according to the Braun-Blanquet method. As a result of field studies, 47 taxa belonging to 22 families and 38 genera distributed in and around the lake and 5 plant communities, 3 in aquatic vegetation and 2 in coastal-mud vegetation, were determined. Risk management recommendations have been made for alien plant species determined to be distributed in these communities and those with the potential to be invasive.
