Abstract:

This study was conducted in rural and urban areas with the aim of comparing happiness, marriage harmony and marriage satisfaction in relationships between 18-45-year-old married women. The study included a total of 227 married women between the ages of 18 to 45 living in the Anatolian and Marmara region. The majority of the 116 women living in rural areas consisted of women living in the villages of Ankara and Istanbul, and some of them in the villages of Edirne. The rural areas were designed to be as small as possible settlements and 65 villages were moved. 111 of the women living in the city live in the center of Ankara and Istanbul. The study used Demographic Information Form, Marriage Compatibility, Marriage Compatibility and Happiness Degrees in Relationships According to the results we obtained, the married women living in rural areas married conformity and married satisfaction were higher than the married women living in urban areas, and there was no statistically significant difference in relationships happiness levels. It has been shown that women living in rural areas have a positive relationship between the age of marriage and marriage harmony, and the age of marriage increases, the marriage harmony increases.
