Abstract:

The aim of this study is to determine the impact of the creative leadership characteristics showed by school managers, according to teachers, on the quality of work life of the teacher. The study included 150 teachers who worked in public-related secondary education institutions in Ankara or Çankaya district in the 2021-2022 educational year. Teachers who participate voluntarily in the research were selected by the easy sampling method. The data of the research was collected with the Personal Information Form prepared by the researcher, the Scale of Creative Leadership Characteristics of School Managers developed by Flyer and Sağlam and the Scale of Business Quality of Life developed by Akar and Üstüner. The data collected was analyzed by SPSS. The results of the study are: There is a high-level and negative (r = 0.73) relationship between the quality of teachers' work life and the creative leadership characteristics of school managers. The quality levels of teachers’ business life and the creative leadership characteristics of the school manager do not show significant differences according to the variables of teachers’ gender, age, educational status and professional age.
