Abstract:

The goal of suicide attacks against national security and social welfare is to make the terrorist actions as visible in the media as the devastating consequences/effects on society. From this perspective, the main problem of the study is the influence of the masses of terrorist organizations (fear, blurry, panic, polarization); the media, which it sees as the modern front to shape the social memory and to declare its voice on the international scale, is the authoritization through the news of suicide attacks. The main argument supported in the study in this context is that the forms and limitations of suicide attacks in the media are determining in the formation of the perception of terror, fear and risk in the collective memory. The aim of working with action from state terrorist antagonism is to examine the forms of presentation of suicide attacks in the newspapers, through suicide attacks in the airport of Atatürk on June 28, 2016. In the study, the method of qualitative analysis of the suicide attack in the Ataturk Airport on June 28, 2016 was applied on the communication in the ATV and Show TV Main News Bulletin in the mainstream media.
