Abstract:

Toplumların refah düzeyini ve kalkınmasını etkileyebilen iç göçler, göç eden bireylerin yaşantılarında ekonomik, sosyal ve kültürel yönlerden avantaj ve dezavantajlar oluşturmaktadır. İç göçten en fazla etkilenen bireyler arasında göç eden ailelerin çocukları yer almaktadır. Yapılan bu çalışmada, Doğu ve Güneydoğu Anadolu’dan göçle gelen öğrencilerin yoğun oldukları okullardaki sorunların incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman incelemesi tekniği kullanılmıştır. Çalışma materyali, son 25 yılda iç göç ve öğrencilerin eğitim sorunları ile ilişkili 9 adet tez ve 12 adet makaleden oluşmaktadır. Çalışma bulgularına göre, ailelerin batıya göç etmesindeki en önemli neden iş bulmaktır. İç göçün oluşturduğu en büyük dezavantaj dil ve iletişim anlaşmazlıkları, en büyük avantaj ise iyi eğitim imkânı olarak belirlenmiştir. Okullarda en sık karşılaşılan sorunlara ilişkin bulgular öğretmen ve yöneticiler, öğrenciler ve veliler açısından farklılık göstermiştir. Öğretmen ve yöneticilere göre en büyük sorun dil ve iletişim, öğrencilere göre okul ve çevreye uyum sağlamak, ailelere göre ise ekonomik sıkıntılardır. Son olarak göçün oluşturduğu olumsuzluklara karşı okul-aile işbirliği, veli eğitimi ve bilincini artırmak önerilmiştir.

Abstract:

Internal migration, which can affect the level of well-being and development of societies, creates economic, social and cultural advantages and disadvantages in the lives of migrants. Among the most affected persons from domestic migration are the children of the immigrant families. The study aimed at studying the problems in the schools where students from the East and Southeast Anadolu migrated. For this purpose, the document examination technique from the quality research methods has been used. The study material consists of 9 theses and 12 articles related to domestic migration and educational problems of students over the past 25 years. According to the study findings, the most important reason families migrate to the West is finding a job. The greatest disadvantage of domestic migration is language and communication disputes, and the greatest advantage is the possibility of good education. The findings on the most common problems in schools have shown differences in terms of teachers and managers, students and guardians. The biggest problem for teachers and managers is language and communication, adaptation to school and the environment for students, and economic difficulties for families. Finally, it was recommended to increase school-family cooperation, guardian education and awareness against the disadvantages of migration.

Internal migrations which can affect the welfare and development of societies create economic, social, and cultural outcomes such as advantages and disadvantages in immigrants’ lives. The children of migrant families are among the individuals who are most affected by internal migration. The purpose of this study is to examine the problems in schools where internal migrant students came from the Eastern and Southeastern regions of Anatolia are concentrated. For this purpose, document analysis technique among qualitative research methods were used. The study material consists of 9 theses and 12 articles that have been completed in the last 25 years. According to the study findings, the most important reasons for families to migrate was employment. The major disadvantage of internal migration were language and communication problems, and the major advantage was the possibility of having a good education. Findings regarding the most common problems in schools were varied in terms of teachers and administrators, students, and parents. According to teachers and administrators, the major problem was language and communication, while the major problem is adaptation to school and social environment for students and economic constraints for parents. Finally, increasing school-family cooperation, parent education and awareness was recommended against adverse effects of internal migration.
