Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to explore the level in which the resources used as a curriculum at the high school level in Turkey are included in the cover program on the subject of disability. In this direction, the obligatory courses of Turkish, Mathematics, Sciences, Social Information, T.C. The text, photographs and visual items included in the history of the Inkilâp and Atatürkçülük and Foreign Language curriculum books have been studied. In this study, document analysis of the quality research approaches was used. The 24 curricula published by the Ministry of National Education in the 2020-2021 educational and educational year has been subjected to content analysis by researchers. The research results found that the cover program prepared for disabled individuals was insufficient. When analysed the individuals affected by visual, photographic and text insufficiency, it was found that the number of girls and boys students was not balancedly distributed, that these individuals were not given enough place with their co-workers that showed typical development, and that a large part of them was involved in a passive action. It has also been found that the disadvantaged individuals are not shown in the school environment and are often placed in adult individuals. It is recommended to increase the number of content related to the subject of disability in the curriculum books and to organize these content in such a way that they do not negatively affect the persons affected by disability.
