Abstract:

The Cami Guide was first presented in 2012 by Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdağ, responsible for the Dianet Affairs Presidency of the period. This service area is continued under the name of the Directorate of the Divine Affairs, the Directorate of the General Directorate of the Divine Affairs by the Directorate of the Divine Affairs by the Directorate of the Divine Affairs by the Directorate of the Divine Affairs by the Directorate of the Divine Affairs. In this work, the community’s guidance service has been addressed in general. Under this framework, the appearance, purpose and corporation process of the mosque guidance service, the assessment of the application of the staff performing the service, has been addressed. It is also intended to evaluate the status of the service of the mosquito guide in relation to the implementation process. In this framework, the talks with the mosque guides, the meaning they put on the mosque guideline, the problems they encounter during their duties, the questions they are most asked, the issues they feel needed to support, what can be done for the development of the mosque guideline service, what contributions can come from persons or institutions. In the process of data collection, semi-structured conversations were conducted and the issues considered necessary during the conversations were also discussed. This study, established as phenomenological research from quality research approaches, has been attempted to reveal from the first hand how the mosque guides, the perception and experience of the mosque guiding service. In this framework, 7 mosquito guides that carry out this service have been determined as a working group according to the various Primary Muftails within the Antalya Provincial Muftails. The discussions were held by the researchers in September 2019 on the face of a date with the participants. The conversations were recorded with the audio recording device and the analysis of the conversations lasted between 30-45 minutes was carried out by the researcher. As the first research on the application of Cami guidance, the analysis of the data obtained from questions that will help reveal the field experience of the cam guides has been considered appropriate with the visual analysis technique. In this context, the interview data is uploaded to the Nvivo 12 Plus program. With the help of this program, the interview data repeatedly read is organized in a way that reflects the field experience of the mosque guides. The codes and themes obtained later were reviewed again and some code-theme changes were made and the final form was given. The structures obtained were placed in the findings of those who were considered to be the best to explain the structure concerning their participants' opinions where necessary, without interfering with the language and narrative in their expressions. In the framework of the answers they give to the Cami guides when asked what areas they need support and what topics they think they will be good to know, the topics of the religions history knowledge, language and communication skills, guidance method, art history and architecture, and the fields of terminology knowledge in foreign languages have been shown to be highlighted. The facts that Cami guides see as a problem are in the form of staff and employment problems, material problems and problems with tourism guides. It is possible to classify the most frequently asked questions to the Cami guides, questions about the mosque guidance, current political questions, questions about the Islamic religion. It is clear that tourists do not know about the mosque guidelines. Therefore, this service can be promoted in the fields of service to airports, hotels and tourists in terms of the promotion of the service. In addition, the guidelines and brochures prepared by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism can also be added to the service of mosque guidance. Related to Islamic religion and current political questions, the collection of questions from a field study and evaluation by a work group can also be made to the mosque guides information about the answer developed. Moreover, the mosque guidance service is an important service field in international matters such as fighting Islamophobia, Islamic religion and the promotion of our country. Due to its interdisciplinary characteristics, it is important to improve the quality of the service by working on inter-institutional cooperation. In addition to the studies in which the Cami guides are more specific areas, the field experiences are thoroughly examined, the studies can be done where the satisfaction and expectations of tourists who are serving are also addressed with regard to the service of the Cami guides.
