Abstract:

This study aims to determine how the students who are in the eight grade of primary school perceive the concept democracy which takes place in the curriculum of Social Studies education and what are the things effective on their present perceptions about these concepts. In order to detect students\' perceptions related to democracy, a questionnaire has been prepared.
