Tüketiciler arasında haklarını arama, kullanma ve örgütlenme bilincini geliştirmek tüketici eğitiminin diğer amaçları arasında yer almaktadır.Bilinçli tüketimin gerçekleşmesinde tüketicinin sahip olduğu (temel ihtiyaçların karşılanması hakkı, güvenlik ve güven duyma hakkı, bilgi edinme hakkı, eğitilme hakkı, seçme hakkı, sesini duyurma hakkı, tazmin edilme hakkı, sağlıklı bir çevreye sahip olma hakkı) evrensel haklarını bilmesi ve uygulamada bunları kullanması son derece önemlidir.

Consumer education aims to administer the economic sources of the consumer, selection of the product and service, development of purchase and usage skills, consumer rights and responsibilities and the methods of developing organization skills and gaining rational consumers to the society. It is very important for the consumers to know their universal rights (right of meeting the basic needs, right of security and trust, right of gaining information, right of education, right of electing, right of announcing their demands, right of compensation, right of having a healthy environment) and the usage in application for the realization of conscious consumption.
