Abstract:

Butterfly observation is an important wildlife observation and special interest tourism activity in recent years. Turkey has a rich fauna in terms of bird species and hosts many endemic species but a comprehensive study of the research literature on the link between bird observation and tourism in Turkey has not yet been completed. The aim of this study is to show that Turkey has a different type of tourism in terms of alternative tourism activities, taking into account the tourism potential of a bear observation in Turkey. For this purpose, the literary scan and the developments in the field of doll observation and the doll diversity of Turkey have been studied. In this study, it has been determined that butterflies also have a significant potential in the development and diversification of destinations, like other wildlife tourism values. However, the identification of important bear areas and organizing tours accompanied by guides can also contribute to rural development. It is also believed that alternative tourism varieties based on nature, such as small-group flower observation and photography, will become more popular away from crowds in natural areas.
