Türkçe, bilinen dil tarihi boyunca siyasi, sosyal, ekonomik, kültürel, dinî vb. pek çok sebepten ötürü birçok dille etkileşim hâlinde olmuş, bu dillerden kelimeler almış ve bu dillere kelimeler vermiştir. Bu çalışmada, Türkçe Sözlük’ün 11. baskısından (2011) hareketle, Türkçe Sözlük’te yer alan ve etiketlerle işaretlenen askerlik alanına dair alıntı terimler tespit edilmiş ve bu terimlerin yapı, köken ve anlam bakımından incelemesi yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın kapsamını oluşturan dillere ait alıntı madde başları; Almanca, Arapça, Farsça, Fransızca, İngilizce, İtalyanca, Macarca, Rumca kökenli 148 terimdir. Söz konusu alıntı terimlerin kaynak dilleri Türkçe Sözlük’te verilen dil etiketleri esas alınarak belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Alıntılanan bu terimlerin ait oldukları kaynak diller, Türkçe Sözlük’te yer alan etiketler ile (Ar. "Arapça"; Fr. "Fransızca"; Far. "Farsça"; İng. "İngilizce" ...gibi.) gösterilmiştir. Ancak burada dikkat edilmesi gereken nokta, Türk dilinde birçok kelimenin kaynağının hangi dil olduğu veya Türkçe mi yoksa alıntı mı olduğu konusundaki tartışmaların hâlen devam ediyor olmasıdır.
Turkish, known language throughout the history of political, social, economic, cultural, religious, etc. For many reasons, he interacted in many languages, took words from these languages and gave words to these languages. In this study, from the 11th edition of the Turkish Dictionary (2011) the citation terms for the military area included in the Turkish Dictionary and marked with labels were identified and the terms were studied in terms of structure, origin and meaning. The quotations of the languages that make up the scope of the study are 148 terms of German, Arabic, Persian, French, English, Italian, Hungarian, Romanian origin. The source languages of the aforementioned terms were tried to be determined based on the language labels given in the Turkish Dictionary. The source of these terms belongs to the languages, with the labels in the Turkish Dictionary (Ar. “Arabic” by Fr. “French” is far. “French” and “English”. “English” as well. It was shown. But the point that should be noted here is that the discussions on which language the source of many words in the Turkish language is or whether it is Turkish or quoted are still ongoing.
