Spor Bilimleri Fakultesinde Ogrenim Goren Ogrencilerin Problem Cozme Becerilerinin Psikolojik Dayaniklilik ve Benlik Saygisi Ile İliskisi

Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı, spor bilimleri fakültesi öğrencilerinin problem çözme becerileri ile psikolojik dayanıklılıkları ve benlik saygıları arasındaki ilişkileri incelemektir. İlişkisel modele uygun olarak tasarlanan bu araştırmada, demografik özelliklerin lisans öğrencilerinin problem çözme becerileri, benlik saygıları ve psikolojik dayanıklılık durumları ile olan ilişkisi araştırılmıştır. Araştırma grubunun spor bilimleri fakültesinde öğrenim gören 100’ü kadın (%39,1), 156’sı erkek (%60,9) olmak üzere toplamda 256 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma kapsamında Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Psikolojik Dayanıklılık Ölçeği, Rosenberg Benlik Saygısı Ölçeği ve Problem Çözme Envanterleri kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 22.0 paket programı kullanılarak istatiksel olarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma grubunun demografik özelliklerinin, cinsiyet konusunda “erkek”, sınıf düzeyi konusunda “birinci sınıf ”, bölüm konusunda “Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Öğretmenliği”, gelir düzeyi konusunda “orta”, ailenin ikamet yeri konusunda “küçük şehir” gruplarında sıklıkla kümelendikleri ve ayrıca araştırmaya katılan lisans öğrencilerin psikolojik dayanıklılıklarının, problem çözme becerilerinin ve benlik saygılarının “orta düzeyde” olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Araştırma grubunun psikolojik dayanıklılıkları cinsiyetlerine (p=0,007), sınıf düzeylerine (p=0,017), ailelerinin gelir düzeyine (kendilik algısı alt boyutu, p=0,032) ve ailelerinin ikamet ettikleri (kendilik algısı alt boyutu, p=0,043) yere göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı düzeyde farklılaşmakta olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca problem çözme becerileri ile benlik saygısı arasında pozitif bir ilişki olduğu bulgusuna erişilmiştir (r=0,262, p<0,01). Araştırma sonucunda benlik saygısı düzeyi arttıkça problem çözme becerilerinin arttığı, diğer bir ifadeyle problem çözme becerisi güçlendikçe, benlik saygılarının arttığı söylenebilir.

Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to study the relationship between the problem-solving skills of the students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences and their psychological resistance and self-esteem. This study, designed in accordance with the relative model, has studied the relationship of demographic characteristics with the problem-solving skills of bachelor students, self-respect and psychological resistance conditions. The research group’s 100 students studying at the Faculty of Sports Sciences account for a total of 256 students, including women (39.1%), 156 men (60.9%). The study used the Personal Information Form, the Psychological Resistance Scale, the Rosenberg Self-Respect Scale, and the Problem Solving Inventory. The data obtained were statistically analyzed using the SPSS 22.0 package program. The research group’s demographic characteristics, “man” in terms of gender, “first class” in terms of class level, “body education and sports teaching” in terms of section, “mediate” in terms of income level, “small city” in terms of the family’s place of residence, and also the conclusion was that the psychological resilience, problem-solving skills and self-respect of the bachelor’s students who participated in the research were “mediate”. The research group found that the psychological resistance varied statistically significantly according to gender (p=0,007), class levels (p=0,017), income levels of their families (sub-dimensional self-perception, p=0,032) and their families (sub-dimensional self-perception, p=0,043) where they live. It is also found that there is a positive relationship between problem-solving skills and self-respect (r=0,262, p<0,01). The research finds that the level of self-esteem increases, the problem-solving skills increases, in other words, the problem-solving skills increases, the self-esteem increases.

The aim of this research, was to investigate the relationship between problem-solving skills, psychological resilience and self-esteem of the students of the sports sciences faculty. Relational scanning method were used in the research. Moreover, the relationship between demographic characteristics and undergraduate students’ problem solving skills, self-esteem and psychological resilience status was investigated. The sample of the study consisted of 256 students in total, whom 100 are women (39.1%) and 156 are men (60.9%). In the research, to collect the data, Personal Information form, Psychological Resilience Scale, Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale and Problem Solving Inventories were used. The data were analyzed statistically by using SPSS 22.0 package program. The demographic characteristics of the research group are frequently clustered in “male” groups on gender, “first grade” on grade level, “Physical Education and Sports Teaching” on department, “middle” on income level, “small city” on family residence. In addition, it was concluded that the psychological resilience, problem solving skills and self-esteem levels of the undergraduate students who participated in the research were at the “medium” level. The psychological resilience of the research group was statistically significantly differs based on their gender (p = 0.007), grade levels (p = 0.017), income level of their families (self-perception sub-dimension, p = 0.032), and the place where their families reside (self-perception subdimension, p = 0.043). Also, a significant positive relationship was found between the problem-solving skills and self-esteem of students (r = 0.262, p <0.01). According to the results of the research, it can be said that as self-esteem level increases, problem-solving skills increase, in other words, as the problem-solving skill gets stronger, self-esteem increases.
