Abstract:

The aim of this study is to develop a measuring tool to measure individuals’ attitudes towards the rhythm training and dance course. The research is based on the karma model. Qualitative data was collected with an open end single question and content analysis was carried out. In light of the obtained data and literature, a question pool consisting of 78 articles was created, the materials were evaluated with expert opinions and reduced to 46 articles, the final form of the scale of the formation was applied to 289 students from the students who studied at the Faculty of Sports Sciences of Gazi, Uşak and Ankara University. Recovered basic components analysis has been used to obtain information about the validity of the scale through the obtained data. As a result of this analysis, the scale has a structure of three subfactors, and the scale matters have fallen to 32. The subdimensions are called gains, antipathy and tendency. The test correlations are calculated as proof of substance validity. The substance test correlations varied between 0.39 and 0.80. For the purpose of providing evidence of structural validity, the AFA sond constitutes evidence of the DFA structure validity performed with 301 data obtained by the re-test method (RMSEA .071, SRMR 0.033, NFI 0.98, CFI 0.99, NNFI 0.98, x2/df 2.51). Crα reliability was also calculated in order to prove the scale's reliability and the internal consistency ratio for the entire scale was 0.96. The results of the analyses have shown that the measurement tool developed for the purpose of measuring the attitude towards the rhythm training and dance course is valid and reliable.
