Sporun, tüm yönleri ile farklı dinamiklere sahip olması potansiyeli ile sevk ve idare mekanizmasının önemi her geçen gün artmaktadır. Bu yönetim sistemine insan kaynağı yetiştirme görevi ise ülkemizde formal olarak Spor Yöneticiliği bölümleri aracılığı ile gerçekleştirilmektedir. Sporun geniş kapsamı doğrultusunda etkili yönetiminin sürekli olarak ele alınması ve ilgili lisans bölümlerinde eğitim alan öğrencilerin gelecek projeksiyonlarının betimlenmesi önemli görülmektedir. Bu araştırmada spor yöneticiliği bölümünde lisans eğitimlerini sürdüren öğrencilerin bölümleri ile ilgili görüşlerinin SWOT analizi yaklaşımıyla ortaya konulması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada, derinlemesine ve ayrıntılı bilgi sağlama yönüyle ön plana çıkan nitel araştırma yaklaşımı kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın amacı çerçevesinde tercih edilen çalışma deseni ise, bir ya da birkaç özel durumu derinlemesine inceleyerek analiz etmek amacıyla kullanılan durum çalışması desenlerinden iç içe geçmiş durum çalışması modelidir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2019 yılında Ankara ilinde Gazi Üniversitesi, Spor bilimleri Fakültesine bağlı Spor Yöneticiliği bölümünde öğrenim gören toplam 20 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma grubunun seçiminde, amaçlı örneklem yöntemlerinden ölçüt örnekleme kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmış ve elde edilen verilerin analizinde betimsel analiz tekniği uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonucu olarak, katılımcıların büyük çoğunluğunun spora ilginin ve spor yöneticisi ihtiyacının her geçen gün artmasını bölümün güçlü yanı olarak değerlendirilirken uygulamalı ders sayısının azlığı ve devlet kadrolarına atanma zorluğunu bölümün zayıf yönleri olarak gördükleri, formasyon yoluyla beden eğitimi öğretmeni olabilme imkanını fırsat olarak algılarken spor yöneticiliği bölümü ve mezunlarının sayılarının fazla olmasını ise tehdit olarak değerlendirdikleri söylenebilir.
The importance of the shipping and management mechanism with the potential to have different dynamics in all aspects of the sport is increasing every day. The task of educating human resources into this management system is formally carried out through the Sports Management departments in our country. It is important that effective management is continuously addressed in accordance with the broad scope of the sport and that future projections of students who are trained in the relevant bachelor’s departments are described. This study aims to reveal the opinions of students on the departments of the Bachelor's training in the Department of Sports Management through the SWOT analysis approach. In the research, a quality research approach has been used in the direction of providing profound and detailed information. The preferred study model in the framework of the purpose of the study is the model of the study of the state used for the purpose of analyzing one or more specific situations in depth. The study group consists of a total of 20 students studying in the Department of Sports Management associated with the Faculty of Sports Sciences of the Gazi University of Ankara in 2019. In the selection of the study group, measurement sampling from the purposes of sampling methods was used. In the research, the semi-configured conversation form was used as a data collection tool and the visual analysis technique was applied in the analysis of the obtained data. As a result of the research, the majority of participants consider the increased interest in sports and the need for sports managers every day as the strong side of the department while the lack of the number of practical courses and the difficulty of assignment to the state staff as the weak side of the department, the possibility of being a teacher of body training through the formation can be perceived as an opportunity while the sport managers are considered as a threat if the number of graduates and the department is over.
Due to the potential of sport, the importance of referral and administration mechanism is increasing day by day. The task of raising human resources to this management system is carried out in our country through the Sports Management departments. It is considered important to describe the administrative continuity of sports and the future projections of the students studying in the related undergraduate departments. In this study, it is aimed to present the opinions of the students who are continuing their undergraduate education in the department of sports management with the SWOT analysis approach. In the research, qualitative research approach which is prominent in terms of providing in-depth and detailed information was used. The study pattern is a nested case study model of case study patterns used to analyze one or more specific cases in depth. The study group consisted of 20 students attending Gazi University, Sports Sciences Faculty, Sports Management Department in Ankara in 2019. In the selection of the study group, criterion sampling was used from purposeful sampling methods. In this study, semi-structured interview form was used as a data collection tool and descriptive analysis technique was used to analyze the data. As a result of the research, it is seen that the majority of the participants have increased the need for sports and sports managers every day, while the number of applied courses is low and the difficulty of assigning them to the state cadres are seen as weaknesses of the department, and it can be said that the number of graduates is a threat.
