Abstract:

Wassily Kandinsky has lived with art from his childhood. In the early periods of his art, he continued his search for the influence of the Russian symbolism, Empressionism, Post-Empressionism and Fovism. At the beginning of the twentieth century, in Kandinsky's works, the power of color replaced the decorative experiments under the influence of the Art Nouveau stream. With color, the shape also gained importance, but it appears that this shape goes away from the real shape to the abstract narrative. Since 1909, Kandinsky’s art view has now been a more, inner aspect than the external expression of shape and color. This research is on the "apartment" form in the abstract narratives, which are the products of this direction of the artist. The reason for the form of the apartment being chosen as the subject of research is that this form is of great importance in the elaboration of Kandinsky’s abstracts and abstracts. In the abstract narrative, the artist has often used the contradiction relationship between the triangle, the geometric shape with the least corner, and the apartment, the geometric shape with the most corner, in his compositions. Since 1909, Kandinsky began to distract from the use of figures and objects in his painting. Since this period, the artist has named his work in three main titles as "visualizations", "naturalizations" and "compositions". The form of the apartment is clearly placed in the artist's naturalization and compositions, and later in the biomorphs. This study, which we are trying to evaluate the form of the apartment in Kandinsky's paintings both plastic and the artist's expression from an internal point of view, has presented examples with a chronological series. With this method, Kandinsky’s studies were addressed by observing the changes and development stages of the interests between the apartment and other forms related to the apartment.
