Ekleşme, kelimelerin yapısal özelliklerini kaybederek ek haline dönüşmesi olayı olup ekleşen kelimeler kendi bağımsız yapılarını kaybederek eklendiği kelimeyle uyum içerisinde kullanılırlar. Dil sistemimiz içerisindeki eklerin bir kısmının varlığını, Türkçenin günümüze ulaşan ilk yazılı metinlerinin verildiği Eski Türkçe döneminden beri kullanıldığını yazılı belgelerimizden öğrenmekteyiz. Bazılarının ise sonradan ortaya çıktığı, bu ortaya çıkışın yoktan var olmak şeklinde değil, mevcut şeklin ve fonksiyonun değişmesiyle olduğu bilinmektedir. Türkçenin eklerinin bir kısmı, başlangıçta bir kelime iken daha sonra ekleşerek günümüzdeki şekillerine bürünmüşlerdir. Türkçede ekleşen kelimeler olarak isimleri, zamirleri, edatları ve yardımcı fiilleri görmekteyiz. Türkçede ekleşen kelimeler kullanılış birliği sağladığı, eklendiği kelimelerden sonra geldikleri için de kolayca son ek durumuna geçmişlerdir. Ekleşme sırasında bazı eklerin uyum dışında kalmalarına karşılık kelimelerden ekleşme yoluyla ortaya çıkan eklerin genellikle ünlü ve ünsüz uyumlarına uydukları görülmektedir.
Addition is the case when words lose their structural characteristics and become additions, and the words added are used in accordance with the word added by losing their own independent structures. We learn the existence of some of the additions within our language system from our written documents that the first written texts of Turkish have been used since the ancient Turkish period, where the first written texts of Turkish have reached today. It is known that some of them appear later, that this appearance is not in the form of being existing from the none, but in the change of the current form and function. Some of the additions of Turkish, at first a word, later added to their current forms. In Turkish we see the names, emirates, edats and assistant facts as added words. The words added in Turkish are easily passed to the final addition because they come after the words added, which provide usage unification. It is often seen that additives that arise through additives during additives remain out of harmony, and additives that arise through word additives often match the famous and unknown harmons.
Affixation is the event that the words lose their structural features and become an affix, and the words attached are used in harmony with the words they were added by losing their independent structures. We have learned from our written documents that the existence of some of the affixes in our language system has been used since the old Turkish period in which the first written texts of the Turkish language that have reached today were given. It is also known that some of them appear later, this emergence is not from out the existence but by changing their present forms and functions. Some of the Turkish affixes were initially words, but later they become affixes and formed their present forms. The affixed words in Turkish language are nouns, pronouns, prepositions and auxiliary verbs. The Turkish affixes provided the unity of use, and since they come after the words they were added, they easily became suffixes. Although some of the affixes are out of harmony at the time of affixation, the words formed by affixation are generally compatible with the vowel and consonant harmony.
