Abstract:

Geopolitics is a branch of science that studies the relations between the geographical characteristics of states and their policies. Energy geopolitics is a sub-science of geopolitics that studies the areas where energy sources are located, the energy supply and demand relationship and also includes the development of the global energy balance. Energy is the ability to do business. With the industrial revolution, the definition of energy has gained the meaning of being able to produce machines using various resources. Since the industrial revolution, fossil energy resources such as oil, natural gas and coal have been used worldwide, and the areas where these resources are located have always been the areas where wars have dominated due to their strategic importance. These resources will be exhausted and renewable energy resources will replace them every day. Renewable energy technologies are wind and solar technologies. These energy technologies have reached the point where they can compete with the cost of conventional energy investments as a cost of investment.
