Abstract:

The aim of this study is to adapt the Light Triangle Measure to the Turkish, which is linked in the opposite direction to the characteristics of the Dark Triangle (Narsisism, Makyavelism and Psychopathy) and to study the psychometric characteristics of this adapted scale. For this purpose, 47% of women (N = 189) and 46.3% of men (N = 186) collected data online from a total of 402 participants. In addition to the Light Triple Scale, participants have answered the questions included in the Dark Triple Scale, the Positive Scale, the Subscale of Positive Focus of the Scale of Forgiveness in Interpersonal Relationships and the Demographic Information Form. The findings of the analyses performed are qualified to support the validity and reliability of the scale. The verifying factor analysis supports that the factor structure determined for scale has a good level of model compatibility. The study also analyzed the combined and distinctive validity of the scale and found that the scale was linked to the positive, the dark triangle and the negative direction with the positive and the positive focus, which are other variables in the study. According to this, the correlation patterns that are studied also support the structural validity of the Light Triple Dimension. The findings obtained are consistent with the scope in which the characteristics of the Light Triangle personality create a roof for the concepts of positive psychology.
