Abstract:

As the innovations brought by technological developments create a competitive environment for many companies, it has made compulsory to specialize in this field. In his book, Greengard (2017) revealed the concept of technology adaptation curve, which is now widely recognized. With this concept, it has been stated that each new product or solution follows a quite predictable move, which forms almost a bell curve. In his study, those who first adapted to technology were named “innovative”, those who first adapted to the second stage were named “early adapted” and those who addressed the widespread crowds were named “traditionals”. This model still retains its validity, in the last few decades the life cycle has gained a radical pace. Therefore, companies should be adapted to technology and carry out their corporate transformations as soon as possible. The high impact of logistics activities on in different sectors shows that logistics is a major change and cost key for companies. Within the framework of the concept of digital transformation, a technological change that will take place in business processes is possible to effectively and efficiently develop systems and processes in the core elements of logistics. This study discussed strategies that offer effective solutions to all company activities, from automation systems involved in digital transformation to stock systems in warehouses. Therefore, logistics activities are expected to increase this impact significantly by supporting computer technologies. In our study; in the development of a multinational production enterprise, the results were shared based on the interview interview that translates the effects of the use of information technology in logistics activities on the company. With the use of information technology in the production business in the logistics activities, the relationship with the performance enhancing effect has been revealed in the entire organization chain of the business.
