ÜNİVERSİTE ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN YAŞAM MERKEZLERİ İLE PSİKOLOJİK İYİ OLUŞLARI ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİNİN İNCELENMESİ: BİNGÖL ÜNİVERSİTESİ ÖRNEĞİ Özet Bu araştırmada, üniversite öğrencilerinin yaşam merkezleri ile psikolojik iyi oluşları arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın kapsamını Bingöl Üniversitesi öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma, 2011-2012 bahar dönemi eğitim-öğretim yılında, Bingöl Üniversitesi’nin farklı bölümlerinde öğrenim gören 116 (%57) kız, 88 (%43) erkek olmak üzere toplam 204 öğrenci üzerinde yapılmıştır. Katılımcılar Bingöl Üniversitesi’nin, Ziraat Fakültesi, Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi ve İlahiyat Fakülteleri’nde öğrenim görmektedir. Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin 91’i birinci sınıf, 79’u ikinci sınıf ve 34’ü ise üçüncü sınıfta öğrenimini sürdürmektedir. Katılımcılar, random yöntemiyle seçilmiştir. Öğrencilere, araştırmanın değişkenlerinden olan psikolojik iyi-oluşu ölçmek için, Ryff (1989) tarafından geliştirilmiş 84 maddelik “Psikolojik İyi-olma Ölçeği” uygulanmıştır. Ayrıca bu ölçekle beraber katılımcılara, Bacanlı (1997) tarafından geliştirilen “Sosyo-ekonomik Düzey Ölçeği” uygulanmıştır. Üniversite öğrencilerinin aylık harcama miktarlarına göre farklılıklar elde edilen verilerin çözümlenmesinde SPSS Statistics 20.00 programı kullanılmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde Betimsel istatistik ve Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre yaşam merkezleri farklı olan üniversite öğrencilerinin “özerklik”, “çevresel hâkimiyet”, “bireysel gelişim”, “diğerleriyle olumlu ilişkiler”, “yaşam amaçları” ve “öz-kabul” puan ortalamaları arasındaki farkı belirlemek amacıyla yapılan varyans analizi sonucunda istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı görülmüştür. AN EXAMINATION OF THE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN LIFE CENTER AND PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL BEING OF UNDERGRADUATES: THE SAMPLE OF BINGOL UNIVERSITY Abstract In this research, the relation between undergraduates’ life center and their psychological well being was examined. The scope of the research consists of Bingöl University students. The research was conducted on 204 undergraduates including 116 (%57) females, 88 (%43) males who were studying on different departments of Bingol University during 2011-2012 spring semester. Participants were studying in Faculty of Agriculture, Arts and Sciences Faculty, Theology Faculty of Bingol University. 91 of participants were juniors, 79 of them were sophomores and 34 of them were third graders. The participants were chosen randomly. To scale psychological well-being which was one of the variants, 84-item "Psychological well-being scale" developed by Ryff (1989) was applied on the undergraduates. "Socio-economic status scale" developed by Bacanlı (1997) was also applied on the participants. SPSS Statistics 20.00 Programme was used to analyze the datas. Descriptive statistics, F Test and one-way Anova were used to examine the datas. According to the research data, analysis of variance puts that there has been observed no statistically dramatic difference between the average “autonomy”, “environmental mastery”, “personal development”, “positive relations with other“, “life goals points”, “life purposes” and “self-acceptance” of university students with different wellness centers. The study examined the relationship between the living centers of students and the psychological well-being events: BINGÖL UNIVERSITY EXPERIENCE Summary In this study, the relationship between the living centers of students and the psychological well-being events was studied. The scope of the research is formed by students of the University of Bingöl. The study was conducted on a total of 204 students, including 116 (57%) girls and 88 (43%) men, who studied in different departments of the University of Bingöl in the 2011-2012 spring period. Participants are studying at Bingöl University, Ziraat Faculty, Faculty of Science and Literature and the Faculty of Theology. 91 of the students who participated in the study continued their studies in first class, 79 in second class and 34 in third class. Participants are selected by random method. To measure the psychological well-being, which is one of the research variables, students were applied 84 "Psychological well-being scale" material developed by Ryff (1989) to measure the psychological well-being. In addition, this scale has been applied to the participants, the "socio-economic level scale" developed by Bacanlı (1997) . The SPSS Statistics 20.00 program has been used for the analysis of the data obtained by differences according to the monthly spending of university students. In the evaluation of the data; visual statistics and one-way variance analysis were used. According to the research findings, there was no statistically meaningful difference in the variance analysis of university students with different living centers in order to determine the difference between "autonomy", "environmental sovereignty", "individual development", "positive relations with others", "life goals" and "self-acceptance" score average.
